OverviewA well‑established logistics and distribution organisation in the North West is seeking a highly organised and detail‑drivenpliance Manager to support and oversee thepany’s operationalpliance frameworks.
Working closely with operational teams and senior management, this role is responsible for maintaining regulatory standards, ensuring effectiveernance, and supporting continuous improvement across the business. The scope includes quality management systems (ISO standards), transport and fleetpliance, safetyernance, and broader operational risk management.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management Systems (QMS)
1. Maintain and support the organisation’s ISO 9001:2015 Business Management System.
2. Oversee controlled documentation, version control, and operational risk assessments.
3. Coordinate internal audit programmes and assist during external certification audits.
4. Manage corrective actions, non-conformities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Support dataernance and GDPR-relatedpliance controls.
Operationalpliance & Risk
6. Contribute to the organisation’s operational risk management framework.
7. Support the investigation of workplace incidents and manage RIDDOR reporting where required.
8. Monitor workforce safetypliance (PPE, medical declarations, training records).
9. Maintain oversight of staffpetency documentation andpliance records.
Transport & Fleetpliance
10. Oversee regulatory transportpliance and fleet accreditation requirements (including FORS).
11. Administer fleet management systems (, Convey) and monitor driverpliance (licence checks, onboarding documentation, tachograph data).
12. Ensure adherence to Working Time Directive, DVS, and London Lorry Control Scheme requirements.
13. Support operator licencepliance and assist with DVSA or enforcement interactions where necessary.
Fire Safety & Facilitiespliance
14. Monitor fire safety systems including alarms, emergency lighting, and associated safety equipment.
15. Coordinate statutory inspections such as PAT testing, fixed electrical testing, and equipment calibration.
16. Support contractor coordination for site maintenance andplementations activities.
Claims & Incident Management
17. Manage vehicle damage and personal injury claim processes.
18. Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and legal representatives where needed.
19. Support evidence gathering and investigations into operational or conduct‑related incidents.
Additional Support
20. Assist with wider operationalpliance tasks across the business.
21. Contribute to supplierpliance checks, customer audit responses, and administrativepliance duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required
22. Experience in apliance,ernance, transport, or operational role within logistics or another regulated industry.
23. Knowledge of transportpliance frameworks and fleet accreditation standards is highly desirable.
24. Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is advantageous.
25. Strong capability in maintainingpliance documentation and working with digital systems.
26. Previous involvement in audit processes, regulatory reporting, or safetyernance is beneficial.
