There'll be plenty of opportunities to work collaboratively with your HR Business Partner and other HR colleagues, shaping innovative solutions and championing people-related initiatives.
Developing professional working relationships with managers and Trade Union colleagues alike, you'll find ample scope to use your skilful communication and influencing abilities, supporting the implementation of our great workforce policies through advice, coaching and constructive challenge. With self -confidence and experience in handling complex employee relations cases, you'll be someone who recognises the significance of the part you play in nurturing well-developed people management skills and paying attention to employee wellbeing in resolving cases, carefully balancing both a business and person-centric approach.
As well as your IT skills, you'll bring with you up to date knowledge of employment law and an ability to interpret complex information, summarising this clearly & concisely. There'll also be opportunities to design and deliver workshops, using your professional expertise, credibility, and creativity. You'll be professionally qualified to CIPD level 5 and have proven generalist HR experience, gained in a busy and diverse medium-to-large organisation.
The role is part time (32 hours) and we welcome conversations around how you might work these hours. Our HR & OD team, work in a hybrid manner, with time split between home, office and customer work locations.
