We are looking for respectful, warm and enthusiastic Waking Night Support Workers to work in our supported living service in Waterloo, providing support to 5 individuals with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorders within their own self-contained apartments.
You must be prepared to 'go the Extra Mile' to ensure that service users are enjoying the highest quality of life and have opportunities to become more independent and connected to their communities. You will have excellent communication and team working skills whilst promoting service user's dignity, independence and well-being. If you are calm, resourceful and proactive, this role is perfect for you.
Waking Night Support Worker Duties:
* Providing personal care to service users,
* Working evenings on a rota system including weekends and bank holidays,
* Supporting individuals with activities that they enjoy and days out in the surrounding towns of Winwick, St. Helens, Leigh and Newton-le-Willows and further afield
* Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users
* Carrying out general administrative duties and housing management tasks
