The role of the Contracts Manager Steel Framing & Dry lining will involve:
Contracts Manager position dealing with a high quality range of steel framing & drylining projects
Managing and coordinate a team of subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Traveling to site, keeping all works moving smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans
Managing all aspects of the contract from tender through to the completion
Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time
Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project
Managing projects ranging in value up-to £5m
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager Steel Framing & Dry lining with:
Must have 5+ years as a Contract Manager within Steel Framing Systems, Dry lining or have Building Envelope experience
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams
Must be a driven, enthusiastic and proactive individual
Will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Possess good knowledge of the building industry
High levels of attention to detail
A sound understanding of building legislation and controls
