MPI are looking for PERMANENT Service & Advanced Repairs Engineers, for our client based in London
Location
Ideally London, but will consider Kent, Surrey, Southampton, Reading, Oxford etc.
Hours Typically, start at 8 and finish at 4:30 however this is work dependent anything over 9 hours a day is paid at over time rates

About the role
In your role as Service & Advanced Repairs Engineer you will provide all aspects of on-site servicing, repairs and installation works covering domestic and commercial contracts throughout the UK. On call duty and standby will be required on a rotary basis to allow for 24/7 service cover.
In this role your key responsibilities will include:
Understand and adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Maintaining accurate data using a mobile device (customer, asset & contract information)
Carrying out site surveys and providing relevant information to the office
Actively be aware of opportunities to promote Client’s Services
Perform Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
Perform advanced fault finding and repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
Assist with on-site installation of pumps and pressurised systems
Complete and submit all required paperwork
Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary
Provide accurate information to the relevant department or Manager
Provide training and guidance to colleagues
Essential qualifications, experience and skills required:
Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
Advanced fault finding and minor repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
Knowledge of pumps and pressurised systems
UK Driving Licence
Organised and self-motivated
Attention to detail
Customer focused
A pleasant and friendly ‘can do’ attitude
Health and Safety training required for the role
Good time keeping
Be flexible and adaptable
Knowledge and skills to develop:
Further Health and Safety training required for the role
Further product training as required
