This Is More Than a Senior Controller Role
We're looking for someone ready to step into leadership. Not someone who just wants to “do the job” — but someone who wants to own it, improve it, and progress from it.
As a Control Room Team Leader, you'll oversee a team of Control Room Administrators operating 24/7, ensuring our National Operations Centre runs smoothly, professionally, and to the highest standard.
This is an entry‑point management role for someone ambitious, proactive, and capable of multitasking at a high level in a fast‑paced operational environment.
Responsibilities
* Supervising and supporting a team of Controllers across day and night shifts
* Monitoring live staffing, attendance, welfare checks, and incident response
* Ensuring duress activations and escalations are handled correctly and promptly
* Overseeing workload distribution during peak periods
* Maintaining exceptional accuracy in reporting and incident logging
* Leading structured handovers between shifts
* Coaching team members to improve performance and confidence
* Identifying process improvements and driving standards upward
* Acting as the first point of escalation before matters move to senior management
Qualifications & Characteristics
* A senior controller ready for leadership
* A shift lead in operations, logistics, or monitoring
