Job Purpose
Responsible for managing different modelling aspects of ICE Climate Transition Finance. ICE Climate Transition Finance team comprises "hands-on" climate modellers, data modellers and other sustainable finance experts working closely with product specialists and programmers to develop innovative climate transition data and analytics.
The purpose of the role is to enhance existing methodologies and update analytics around climate transition risk. This will include but not limited to creation and enhancements of analytics for carbon foot-printing for different asset classes, development of Temperature Metrics methodologies, integration of climate risk into financial risk and return models. Working in a collaborative way with other teams of ICE, the candidate would be responsible for developing enhanced metrics and analytical tools that support ICE clients with their net zero transition plans.
Responsibilities
* Review and update emissions inference data methodology.
* Enhance methodologies and update analytics around climate scenario analysis and portfolio alignment.
* Enhance methodology and develop analytics around PCAF implementation and carbon foot-printing for different asset classes.
* Enhance methodology and update analytics around SBTi, ITR and other temperature metric models.
* Keep abreast of latest developments in climate science and sustainable finance and incorporate them into ICE products and services.
* Contribute to the development of new modules to enhance ICE climate transition portfolio management platform by conducting market intelligence and analysing the competitive landscape to define a unique offering for ICE.
Knowledge and Experience
* Master’s Degree or Phd in Climate Science, Mathematics or relevant field
* Climate science or modelling experience or knowledge
* Experience with Python and databases like MongoDB, SQL etc.

* This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
