Due to significant business growth, we are excited to introduce a new Head of International Sales Operations role within our Pump Manufacturing team.
This pivotal role will be responsible for driving commercial international sales in alignment with the company's strategic growth plans. You will lead and develop both the external Territory Managers and the internal sales team to expand the customer base, foster long-term relationships, and increase market share in targeted international regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Commercial Development function to deliver international sales strategy.
Drive international expansion through B2B engagement, channel partners, and other growth opportunities.
Recruit, train, and develop the sales team to ensure optimal performance and resource coverage.
Create and implement sales forecasts and plans across global territories.
Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for assigned territories and accounts.
Identify market positioning strategies, resource requirements, and new partnership opportunities.
Support M&A activities aligned with global expansion objectives.
Provide strong, motivational leadership with a focus on performance and morale.
Build new customer relationships and develop opportunities based on existing and potential product applications.
Report regularly on sales performance, risks, market opportunities, product developments, and improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
Degree qualified or equivalent by experience.
Demonstrated success in raising team performance standards.
Proven experience setting and achieving KPIs and managing budgets.
Strong background in commercial and contract management.
Comfortable in a high-paced, multi-client environment with excellent organizational skills.
A natural leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Forward-thinking, analytical, and methodical with great attention to detail.
Extensive client-facing experience with strong commercial and technical negotiation skills.
Experienced in leading, coaching, and managing international sales teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
Full UK driving licence essential.
