Overview

Senior Technical Training Lead at Trimble Inc. Location options include Westminster, CO; Dayton, OH; Raunheim; Milton Keynes; Perth; Brisbane; or Christchurch. This role focuses on designing and implementing training programs and content to enhance the technical skills of employees and distribution partners, with a focus on Trimble on-machine products, including Earthworks.

What You Will Do

* Design, develop and implement a comprehensive training curriculum, both in-person and virtually, for Trimble machine control installation and technical troubleshooting, including the ability to present technical concepts to large groups.
* Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and tailor training programs accordingly.
* Manage and maintain a database of training content for internal and external staff.
* Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments to ensure high levels of competence and confidence in trainees.
* Utilize project management methodologies and tools to plan, schedule, and monitor training activities/events, ensuring milestones are achieved within scope, budget, and timelines.
* Develop structured staff development programs, provide feedback on effort, and assess goals.
* Create and maintain training curriculum and hardware for training, including site infrastructure and heavy machinery, and manage Trimble training website Learn.trimble.com.
* May require bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing to perform work. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials/objects up to 50 pounds or more with proper equipment.


Health and Safety

* Participate in hazard reporting and accurate incident reporting.
* Contribute to a positive health and safety culture within the team.
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow Safe Work Procedures.
* Wear appropriate PPE and work within Trimble Health and Safety Policy guidelines or those of other PCBUs if off-site.
* Undertake training to ensure competency to safely operate equipment.


What Skills & Experience You Should Have

* Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role, specifically with Trimble civil construction products or comparable technology.
* Strong civil construction domain knowledge to understand and test construction-specific processes, materials, and regulatory requirements.
* Thorough knowledge of training methodologies, tools, and techniques.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality testing results and recommendations for hardware/software improvements.
* Understanding of quality assurance principles and processes.
* Proven experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and controlling projects.
* Familiarity with project management tools such as Agile, JIRA, and Google Suites.
* Bachelor’s degree or certification in technical training or professional development is a plus.
* Ability to travel (approximately 10-30%).


Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range and other compensation and benefits are described in good faith. The range is based on a full-time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range and to offer additional benefits depending on circumstances not related to protected status.

* Hiring Range: $92,750.00–$122,960.00
* Pay Rate Type: Salary
* Bonus Eligible: Yes
* Commission Eligible: No
