We are seeking a confident Band 7 Occupational Therapist with strong leadership skills and a broad T&O background to lead our dedicated therapy team. Our orthopaedic wards follow the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol for NOF fractures, improving outcomes through evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities
* Lead a skilled team delivering specialist assessments and interventions across complex T&O and rehabilitation caseloads.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team and champion best practice in orthopaedic care alongside peer Advanced Clinical Academic Fellow Band 7 T&O Physiotherapist and Band 8a Advanced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in T&O.
* Play a major and specialist role in the advanced assessment, treatment, clinical management and discharge planning of patients admitted to the orthopaedic wards, determining clinical diagnosis, functional deficits, treatment programs and discharge planning.
