Corporate & Commercial Associate – 1-4 PQE £50,000 - £70,000 Surrey A historic and well regarded Legal 500 firm, is looking for a junior Associate to join their thriving and Legal 500 Corporate/Commercial team. With a quickly growing number of Solicitors a, this mid-sized law firm handles a a high quality client base including reputable and high-value national companies. This role offers a varied opportunity to work on high value corporate and commercial matters including M&A, corporate advisory, and commercial contracts with a high-level of responsibility and excellent opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities: Managing a varied caseload of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, commercial contract negotiation and drafting, corporate advisory, shareholder and partnership agreements, and NDAs, Assisting senior Solicitors and Partners with higher value matters and contributing to the development of the team, Building relationships with clients and maintaining the highest standard of care while ensuring full compliance, Developing skills internally and growing with the firm while gaining greater responsibility. Desired Skills and Experience: UK qualified solicitor of 1-4 PQE, with excellent post-qualification experience from a well-recognised firm (other levels will be considered on an individual basis), A strong understanding of corporate and commercial law, with experience handing M&A and commercial contracts, Strong academic background, ideally with a 2:1 degree or above, Excellent communication skills with colleagues and members of staff, High levels of attention to detail.
