Job Purpose
To meet the day‑to‑day clinical information needs of the Neonatal unit by collating and recording data onto the neonatal clinical information system (BadgerNet) in a timely and accurate way.
Key Responsibilities
* Collate and record patient data onto BadgerNet in a timely and accurate manner.
* Support medical and nursing staff to input data relating to patient care levels, staffing levels and cot availability into BadgerNet using various sources on the neonatal unit.
* Use other NHS information systems to obtain missing patient information and update details as necessary.
* Ensure all activity on the Neonatal Unit, post‑natal ward and Transitional Care wards is captured and up to date on BadgerNet.
* Work on own initiative in accordance with the department’s requirements with support of the nursing and medical team.
* Generate real‑time reports and assist in comprehensive data collection for audit and research purposes.
* Support audit and research purposes to meet the needs of the Neonatal Service as per trust policy.
