We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor for a Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established business delivering a wide range of infrastructure and development projects across Scotland.
As a Surveyor, you will:
* Provide accurate surveying and setting out across multiple sites.
* Carry out topographical and as-built surveys using modern surveying equipment.
* Process survey data and produce reports, drawings, and digital models.
* Support site teams with measurements, levels, and technical input.
* Ensure works are delivered in line with design specifications and quality standards.
* Liaise with engineers, managers, and subcontractors to maintain smooth site operations.
We're looking for someone who has:
* A degree, HND, or equivalent in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Previous experience as a Land Surveyor, Engineering Surveyor, or Setting Out Engineer.
* Proficiency with surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, laser scanners).
* Strong IT skills with experience in AutoCAD or other relevant software.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
