The Role:
As Director of Spa, you will lead the strategic vision and commercial success of The NICI Newquay’s wellness offering. Overseeing spa operations, retail, and guest experience, you’ll create a destination spa that reflects modern luxury, wellbeing, and coastal energy.
Key Responsibilities
• Full operational and commercial leadership of the spa
• Develop spa concept, treatments, and guest journey
• Lead, mentor, and develop the spa leadership and therapist teams
• Drive revenue through treatments, memberships, and retail
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance, hygiene, and brand standards
• Play a key role in pre-opening planning and launch
About You
• Senior spa leadership experience in luxury hotels or resorts
• Strong commercial and strategic mindset
• Passion for wellness innovation and guest experience
• Proven people leader with pre-opening experience desirable
