We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Contract Logistics team. This is a new business development ("hunter") role. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and bringing in new opportunities within the UK market, while collaborating with the UK CL team and regional stakeholders for pricing and solution development.
Essential Job Functions:
* Proactively generate and qualify new business opportunities in the UK Contract Logistics space.
* Engage with prospective clients to understand their supply chain needs and present tailored solutions.
* Collaborate with the UK CL team and regional pricing leads to develop competitive proposals.
* Promote and sell a comprehensive suite of value-added services including: Storage and warehousing, Picking, packing, and kitting, E-commerce fulfilment, UK final mile delivery, and European distribution solutions
