Ward 12 at King's Mill Hospital is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Assistant to join our busy Surgical Ward.
As a Healthcare Support Assistant, you will work alongside our established and highly skilled Multi-Disciplinary Team to deliver patient-centred care in a fast-paced, supportive setting.
The ideal candidate will be courteous, helpful and committed to ensuring patients, relatives and visitors receive the highest level of care and attention. You will support fellow team members to create a motivating, stimulating and supportive atmosphere for everyone on the ward.

NVQ 2 in care
Educated to a good standard of general education equivalent to GCSE Maths & English level C or above
Care Certificate or commitment to achieving within 2 weeks of commencement

Further Training
Committed to attending further training and development as identified
Able to demonstrate clear and robust verbal and written English communication skills
Previous care work experience
Previous face-to-face customer care experience
Previous experience in a hospital setting
Flexible approach
Able to work flexibly on a varied shift pattern according to the roster including nights and weekends
