Job Title – Kitchen Supervisor
Reporting to – General Manager

Main Responsibility
You will ensure that the business operates in line with its targets plans and objectives.
Ensuring that health and safety issues are monitored, maintained and reported in line with and as per current legislation guidelines.
Kitchen supervisor oversees everything that comes out of the kitchen and what gets ordered into the kitchen.
You will be key holder and required to open and close the building where necessary and step in to run the shift where needed.
Key Responsibilities of being a Kitchen supervisor:
· To offer leadership to the kitchen team.
· To promote the organisations customer service standards.
· To help recruit, train and develop staff.
· Be a point of call for a customer complaint in the kitchen and if you can't resolve the issue then escalate the complaint to a manager.
· Work as a supportive leader.
· To keep up Food Hygiene standards and ensure staff members are following the correct procedure.
· To ensure the cleanliness is held to a high standard, which includes cleaning all parts of the café and seating area. Record these on the weekly cleaning sheet.
· Come up with incentives to keep the staff motivated.
· To ensure stock is in store by doing the weekly food/drink orders.
· Weekly stock counts on all products and updating roller when orders have been made.
· Make sure all daily paperwork is being completed daily and correctly
· Assist with the site annual food safety Audits
· To ensure all check lists are complete.
· Keeping record of stock wastage & Ensure staff members are recording it correctly.
· Keeping record of checking temperature of cooked food.
· Ensure staff are sticking to guidelines set out in health and safety policies.
· Act with integrity and honesty.
· Treat all customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect.
· Report any problems to Management.
· Report all safeguarding issues to the safeguarding officer.
· Till work and cash handling responsibilities
· Food Handling and cooking responsibilities
Performance reviews will be held to evaluate if you are keeping to these standards by management.
Qualifications/Skills
● A good level of spoken English
● Basic IT skills
● 3-day first-aid certificate desirable
● Level Food Hygiene Level 2/3 Desirable
Working Conditions:
● You will need to be available for weekends and School holidays, your hours may also take place midweek during the day/evenings.

Pay: £12.60-£13.60 per hour
