This is an exciting time to join the UK and Ireland team as a strategic HR Business Partner. The successful candidate will work in partnership with business leaders to consult on, create and execute a people strategy to ultimately deliver strategic business initiatives and results. This role will be responsible for creating sustainable value through a people plan, focusing on transformational and cultural change and provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of people-related matters. Why this role is important to us As a key member of the business leadership team, the HRBP will act as trusted advisor to multiple executive stakeholders. They will be a strong sounding board, coach and confidante on key matters and offer visible behavioural leadership to the business. In partnership with the wider HR function, they will be at the forefront of delivering significant change across the business, with a particular focus on business transformation, through enhanced organisational effectiveness and workforce capability. They will drive high performance across the business and play a leading role in the strategic talent management and succession agendas. Considered as the lynchpin between the HR Function and the business, the role holder will be highly relationship-driven, yet able to hold both parties to account when required to ensure activity is value-add and underpins business strategy. The successful candidate will be insightful, commercial and credible. As a big-picture thinker with a 'helicopter view', the HRBP will be able to bring objectivity to everything they do and will be motivated by doing the right thing for Experian. They will be comfortable in navigating change and operating in a 'grey' space. It is critical the successful candidate has presence, impact and can effect change by challenging the status quo. Qualifications What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian A strategic thinker who demonstrates a deep understanding across the breadth of the HR operating model, partnering with CoE stakeholders as required to execute strategy A confidante and thought partner; a trusted counsel and a valued voice, providing innovative ideas, provocation, influence and challenge to the management / leadership teams. Excellent stakeholder management with the emphasis on delivery through others - communicates challenges and influences a variety of stakeholders across the organisation effectively Highly insight-led with the ability to use data to inform discussions, challenge and influence the business to help shape our business and people strategy Demonstrated ability to take the initiative, originate action and be responsible for the consequences of the decisions made Is client-focused and commercially astute with a strong understanding of the business unit, the context and markets in which they operate and their P&L. Able to converse, challenge and add value on business matters. Work that matters - What you'll be doing Responsible for shaping and driving a local people strategy, which underpins the overall business strategy and aligns to both UKI Regional and Global HR priorities. Leading and managing the delivery of a complex multi-year workforce transformation programme from a people perspective, resulting in a significant shift aligned to a new Target Operating Model (TOM) and likely to require a significant training / upskilling programme. Working in conjunction with business leaders to transform the wider business operating model, ensuring aligned business areas are set up for rapid growth and acceleration, whilst creating a sustainable model underpinned by robust location and talent strategy, leveraging the use of Strategic Workforce Planning as required. Manage the end-to-end talent management process, supporting the business in hiring, on-boarding and identifying talent internally, as well as facilitating succession planning activity and supporting the construction and implementation of development plans and initiatives delivering the annual processes in an organised, diligent and effective manner to ensure the right outcomes for the business and employees Drive the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda across the business; shape and build an action plan which delivers on Experian's diversity goals through continued focus Working in partnership with the Reward team to ensure delivery of an appropriate reward strategy, encompassing salary, bonus, LTIPs and other benefits to support the business units Has a continuous focus on the employee and candidate experience across the colleague lifecycle, including all processes, initiatives and ways of working. More about you A credible track record of partnering senior stakeholders to deliver a commercially-focused HR strategy, building strong relationship and influencing outcomes. Is credible and confident; displays great energy, impact, gravitas, conviction, passion and drive in everything they do, with good levels of emotional intelligence and common sense. Has a learning mindset and looks outside to seek external industry best practice, identifying innovative ways of working and translating these into actionable solutions to challenge the status quo. Has strong coaching abilities supporting the leadership team on matters from people issues to personal development. High emotional intelligence and resilience - can maintain personal effectiveness by managing own emotions in the face of pressure and setbacks.
