We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Assistant to join a vibrant post-16 educational setting in Central Plymouth. This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people aged 16+ who have a range of special educational needs (SEN), supporting them to achieve independence, confidence, and academic progress.
The Role:
Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to learners with diverse SEN profiles, including autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.
Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to deliver inclusive learning.
Support students with emotional regulation, social interaction, and life skills.
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with young people with SEN (preferably in a post-16 or secondary setting).
Is empathetic, reliable, and enthusiastic about inclusive education.
Can work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Ideally holds an appropriate qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent), though strong experience is also valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
