Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South Birmingham School Type: Mainstream Primary School Contract: Full-time, temporary Start Date: February 2026 The Role We are seeking a caring, patient, and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child within the Pathways Suite at a welcoming mainstream primary school in South Birmingham. The role involves providing tailored support to help the pupil access learning, develop independence, and thrive both academically and emotionally. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and Pathways staff to deliver individualised support in line with the child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
