Overview
Our Administrative Officers within Criminal Fines Collection and Enforcement provide excellent administrative support and decision‑making to recover criminal fines and financial penalties imposed by the Courts.
Responsibilities
* Process all payments received in respect of fines and fees within a set timescale.
* Accurately and securely receipted, reconciled and banked payments in accordance with policies and procedures.
* Engage with managers, courts and other stakeholders to collect information, check facts and ensure all reconciliations are supplied as required.
Skills and Experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Empathy, non‑judgemental, focused on carrying out the role while respecting customers.
* Organising time, prioritising efficiently, multi‑tasking and using various software packages.
Working Arrangements and Hours
* Standard full‑time hours 37 hours per week; part‑time, flexible and job‑sharing are accepted.
* Office based in Runcorn; shift between 09:00‑17:00 Monday‑Friday.
* Hybrid working may be available on a non‑contractual basis subject to business needs.
