Job Description:
* Office based at Farnborough
* Defence Academy Shrivenham and other Customer sites across the UK
* Security Clearance eligibility
* Sole UK national due to security clearance requirements
User liaison between DXC Technology and Mission Planning System end-users (e.g. aircrew, operations personnel, and system administrators). Deliver dedicated AMPA training courses ensuring the operational capability of the system is maintained.
User Liaison
* Act as the primary conduit of information between the system users and the DXC Project Teams, gathering feedback on current use and future required capabilities.
* Assist the AMPA Helpdesk team, ensuring any in-service issues encountered are quickly resolved, maintaining the system’s operational capability.
* Recommend solutions for Mission Planning System functionality enhancements based on feedback and understanding of operational requirements.
Training
* Deliver regular system training courses at the dedicated AMPA training facility located at the Defence Academy Shrivenham.
* Maintain all training material and user manuals, ensuring they are in a format suitable for, and familiar to, their intended audience.
* Provide differences training during the roll out of updated software releases.
* Deliver AMPA capability demonstrations both to internal and external personnel.
Software Testing and Evaluation
* Undertake representative testing from the end-users’ perspective, of updated software releases, to ensure the product satisfies their requirements and expectations.
* Assist with the assessment of any reported defects, advising the Design Authority on potential impact to system users.
Essential Qualifications / Skills
* Training delivery experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and DXC team members
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* UK SC security clearance, or the ability to obtain one
Desirable Qualifications / Skills
* Experienced user of Mission Planning Systems (e.g. AMPA) or similar complex IT systems
* Ex military aircrew / operations personnel

* Willingness to travel throughout the UK
