Your Role as a DT ECT As a Design and Technology ECT, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with mentoring and CPD provided to support your development. You will have access to up-to-date facilities including a dedicated workshop, laser cutters, and CAD/CAM software. What You Will Do * Teach across product design, resistant materials, and possibly graphics or textiles depending on your specialism * Develop students' problem-solving, creativity, and technical skills * Participate in DT club, competitions like Young Engineer, and local exhibitions * Collaborate with the DT team to enhance curriculum planning What We’re Looking For * DT-related degree and PGCE (QTS by July 2025) * Passion for design thinking and innovation * Ability to build strong rapport with learners and staff
