Health & Safety ManagerLocation: WrexhamSalary: £55,000 – £70,000 + packageConfidential – Leading Main ContractorA leading UK main contractor is seeking a talented Health & Safety Manager to join their team, supporting major projects across Wrexham and the wider region. This is a key role within a fast-paced, high-performing construction environment, offering long-term progression and the chance to take ownership of health & safety on projects exceeding £50m in value.The OpportunityYou will play a critical role in ensuring all projects remain safe, compliant and aligned with company and statutory requirements. Working closely with site teams, project managers and senior leadership, you’ll embed a strong safety culture across fast-paced, complex schemes.Key Responsibilities:• Lead, develop and implement the company’s Health & Safety strategy across multiple live projects• Ensure full compliance with legislation, industry standards and internal policies• Carry out regular site audits, inspections and reporting• Provide guidance, coaching and training to project teams and subcontractors• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incidents and improve site safety performance• Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors and project stakeholders• Support pre-construction planning, RAMS reviews and high-risk activity managementIdeal Background:• Proven Health & Safety management experience within main contracting• Track record delivering safety leadership on projects £50m+• Experience working on fast programme construction environments• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and UK construction H&S legislation• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (preferred)If you’re an experienced Health & Safety Manager looking to step into a high-impact role on major schemes, we’d like to hear from you.
