Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer to work on a range of projects including traditional plumbing systems and renewable energy installations such as air source heat pumps. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial environments.
Responsibilities
* Install, maintain and repair traditional plumbing systems.
* Contribute to renewable energy installations, including air source heat pumps.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and system layouts.
* Collaborate with project teams across residential and commercial environments.
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and safety requirements.
* Demonstrate problem-solving skills and attention to detail to deliver quality workmanship.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a plumber or plumbing/heating engineer.
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
* Knowledge of or experience with renewable systems is highly desirable.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system layouts.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Gas Safe certification is advantageous.
* Higher rates of pay available for those with Gas Safe certificate.
* Schedule: Monday to Friday.
* Job Type: Full-time.
