Frylite Limited is seeking an Environmental Compliance Advisor to join our team. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday- 38.5 hours per week. Monday-Thursday- 9.00am-5.30pm and Friday 9.00am – 4.00pm.
Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day compliance of all licences and permits across the Group.
* Completion of scheduled environmental compliance audits across the Group.
* Maintaining the sampling regime for both in-house and external water safety responsibilities and in line with consents. Reporting and identifying non-compliance within set parameters.
* Supporting site representatives on preventative maintenance system completion.
* Providing sustainability development and project support to the Grp. ESHS S/Mgr.
* Completion of quarterly and annual waste data and packaging returns.
* Ensuring that relevant documentation is received from contractors coming to site and the issue of permits to work as required.
* Ensuring database of waste contractors and authorisations is maintained and communicated accordingly.
* ISCC Annual Audit requirements for Waste Oils – Signatures/Documentation, Sustainability Declarations, Waste classifications
* Assist the Grp. H&S Mgr. in the investigation and data recording for all types of incidents (RTI, Spills, Injury), including weekly reporting requirements.
* Dealing with customer queries and maintaining online compliance systems.
* Attending monthly EHS mtgs. Providing supporting evidence and data to the Grp. H&S Manager.
* Support the Grp. H&S Mgr. in promoting and developing regular health and safety campaigns.
Essential Criteria:
* Must have at least an environmental management qualification and/or accreditation to CIWM/IEMA and able to demonstrate competency in this discipline. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (desirable).
* Must have experience of waste compliance licencing, permits and registrations. Namely in auditing and advising the requirements of these instructions.
* Qualification or proven experience in developing and providing training.
* Must be able to travel to all Frylite Depots.
* Fully computer literate and competent with Microsoft office programmes.
Desirable criteria:
* WAMITAB Level 4 Operator Competency (will be required in role if not already held)
