Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with ground investigation projects from planning through to completion.
* Site‑based activities including borehole logging, trial pitting, soil sampling, and groundwater and gas monitoring.
* Assisting in the preparation of factual and interpretive reports.
* Contributing to Ground Investigation and Geotechnical Design Reports under supervision.
* Working closely with senior engineers to develop technical and professional skills.
Required Qualifications
* Hold a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
* Have an interest in ground investigation and geotechnical engineering.
* Be based in or near Newcastle and willing to travel to site when required.
* Hold a valid UK driving licence.
* Have the right to work in the UK.
