We are seeking an experienced Butchery Manager with a minimum of 5 years' butchery and management experience to lead our brand-new store. You'll be responsible for driving sales, maintaining the highest standards of product quality and presentation, and managing a motivated, customer-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the butchery department, including staffing, ordering, stock control, and merchandising.
* Prepare, cut, and display meats to the highest standards.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
* Lead, train, and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and maintain excellent standards.
* Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
* Work closely with senior management to deliver strong performance in the new branch.
About You:
* Minimum 5 years' butchery and management experience in a retail or wholesale environment.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Expert knowledge of all aspects of butchery, including carcass breakdown, portioning, and presentation.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Passionate about delivering outstanding service and quality products.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
