Deanery gap fill post
Mat leave – until Feb 2026 and 12‑month fixed term. The post is in O&G and involves day‑time work and on‑call duties.
Responsibilities
Daytime work will cover the labour ward and/or gynaecology ward as per the on‑call rota at Conquest Hospital. It includes daytime sessions covering the maternity day assessment unit, assisting in theatre, covering clinics (antenatal clinic, general gynaecology clinic and urgent suspected cancer clinics) – these can be at either site.
On‑Call
* Out of hours on‑call includes long days and night duty as per the rolling on‑call rota based at Conquest Hospital.
* The postholder will work a shift system with an on‑call frequency of 1:10; night shifts are split into 2 and 3 nights (may change to 2 and 2 nights with the rest of the nights covered by residential consultants).
