Softcat's Cyber Security Services GRC team is one of the fastest-growing units in the business and a core pillar of our advisory capability. We help customers understand and improve their governance, resilience, risk management and compliance posture across a range of regulatory and best-practice frameworks.
You will be a senior member of the Cyber GRC team, responsible for delivering high-quality advisory engagements, developing new service offerings, and supporting the ongoing evolution of Softcat's governance and assurance portfolio. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and service leaders to scope, deliver, and grow our cyber governance and regulatory-readiness services
As Senior Cyber Assurance Consultant, you'll be responsible for:
* • ISO 27001 and Assurance Leadership
* • Leading ISO 27001 gap assessments, implementation projects and certification readiness activities
* • Serving as the ISO 27001 subject-matter expert for customers and internal stakeholders
* • Providing structured mentoring, coaching and quality oversight for junior ISO 27001 consultants
* • Maintaining and improving Softcat's ISO 27001 methodologies, templates, and delivery standards
* • Supporting supplier audits and liaising with certification bodies
We'd love you to have
* • Extensive experience in cyber governance, risk and compliance.
* • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
* • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
* • Strong experience in delivering ISO 27001 consultancy and supporting certification processes.
* • Experience mentoring or developing junior consultants.
* • Exposure to security technologies and governance-led security improvement.
* • Ability to lead senior-level discussions and to challenge constructively.
* • Experience of working in fast-paced environments managing multiple workstreams.
* • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
* • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously as required.
