Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team. This role involves painting and finishing newly installed timber joinery such as sash windows and doors, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and durability. You will also be responsible for signing off new joinery installations with clients, ensuring they are completely satisfied with the finished product.
The role will mainly be site-based across residential and commercial projects in London, with occasional work in our workshop preparing and painting joinery prior to installation.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and take pride in their work. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will often be the final point of contact with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and painting new timber sash windows, casement windows, and doors to a high standard
* Applying finishing touches to installed joinery on-site
* Carrying out minor preparation and remedial work as required to ensure an excellent finish
* Signing off completed work with clients and ensuring full satisfaction before completion
* Occasionally assisting in our workshop with painting and finishing new joinery before installation
* Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
* Upholding health and safety standards on-site
* Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
Requirements
* Proven experience as a painter and decorator, ideally with experience working on timber windows and doors
* Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* Reliability and punctuality
* Valid UK driving licence
Experience
* Minimum 3 years in a similar role (preferred)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours (Saturday work available)
