£92.56 - £105 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

The School and Role
A specialist Post-16 SEND provision in Walsall is seeking Autism Support Assistants to support male learners with autism and complex communication needs. The role focuses on preparing young people for adulthood through life skills, communication and independence-based learning. This role would suit resilient, positive role models with backgrounds in sport, mentoring, coaching, care or youth work.
Requirements
The desired Autism Support Assistant will have;
1. Experience working with young people
2. Strong communication and relationship-building skills
3. Calm and consistent approach
4. Ability to support behaviour positively
5. Experience in care, sport, mentoring or support roles desirable
