We have an opportunity for a Duty Manager at Seaham Leisure Centre. WHAT IS INVOLVED? You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the venue providing a high-quality service to customers, that is safe, efficient and enjoyed by users; supporting the Operations Manager to maximise income and to lead a team that is motivated, positive, customer focussed and that implements a “can do” culture in line with the thrive values. You will act as a physical activity advocate, proactively encouraging and supporting customers to live a healthy lifestyle. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant area First Aid Qualification Pool Plant Qualification (if facility has a swimming pool) or willingness to work towards Significant experience working in a wet side sport/leisure environment and supervisory experience is essential. You must have experience of supervising employees, along with Health & Safety experience and of providing excellent customer service. Good communication skills and knowledge of the Sport and Leisure industry are essential.
