Job Scope: To support our Sales Engineering Department at our office in Inchinnan, Scotland, Bray Controls (UK) Ltd is seeking an Engineering Draughtsperson. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate 3D models and 2D drawings to support both manufacturing and customer-specific product designs. You will work closely with Sales Engineering and other internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality technical documentation aligned with current engineering standards. Key Responsibilities: Engineering Design & Technical Support Prepare accurate and timely 3D models and 2D drawings of components for purchase or manufacture. Produce layout and arrangement drawings tailored to specific customer requirements. Prepare and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs). Apply current good engineering practice in component manufacture and design. Provide technical information and support to other departments when required. Assist in maintaining accurate, effective, and up-to-date drawing office procedures. Report directly to the Sales Engineering Team Leader. What We’re Looking For Preferably educated HNC or equivalent qualification, or possess compensatory industry experience Proven experience using 2D & 3D CAD design software (preferably SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD) Good understanding of BS 8888 drawing standards Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment A proactive, positive attitude with a strong work ethic Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Why Join Bray?
