Job Description We’re looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy and supportive transport team. The role: You’ll be carrying out multi-drop deliveries across the region, ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time. No two days are the same, and you’ll play a key role in representing the company on the road. Typical responsibilities include: Carrying out safe and timely deliveries to multiple drop points each day Loading/unloading vehicles where required Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld systems accurately Maintaining high standards of customer service with clients on delivery Working closely with the Transport Manager to plan routes and timings Following health & safety and road transport legislation at all times Staying overnight on rare occasions (usually once every few weeks, more during busy periods – £25 night out allowance provided) Shifts: Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm Friday: 7:00am – 11:00am Flexibility for earlier starts if required, agreed with the Transport Manager What we need from you: Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence In-date CPC and Digi Tacho card Minimum of 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience A professional, reliable, and flexible attitude What’s on offer: Competitive hourly pay depending on experience Night out allowance: £25 per night Clear route to a permanent role if it’s the right fit
