The Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our growing team in Haddenham. In this role, you'll be responsible for machining and preparing timber and board materials to precise specifications, supporting the delivery of exceptional bespoke furniture and joinery projects.
You'll work with advanced CNC machinery in a modern workshop, contributing to luxury projects across the UK and internationally, while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and set up a wide range of CNC machinery, including:
* 5-axis router tables
* 4-axis lathe
* 5-axis pod and rail CNCs with EPS system
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of components and assemblies to factory departments
* Produce components to exact specifications, meeting customer requirements
* Work from labels, drawings, and technical specifications with accuracy
* Carry out quality checks and identify faults where necessary
* Collaborate with the Production Manager to improve processes and procedures
* Support the team with general workshop tasks when required
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment, adhering to all H&S policies
What We're Looking For
* Proven CNC machining experience, ideally within woodworking (experience with Biesse Rover A or SCM Routech highly advantageous)
* Working knowledge of AlphaCam (desirable)
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* Team player with good communication skills and the ability to work independently
* Health & safety awareness and commitment to best practice
* Previous experience in a fast-paced bespoke furniture manufacturing environment (desirable)
* Proactive and able to use your initiative to stay productive
* Programming experience (desirable) Training can be provided
Hourly Rate £14-£17 p/h DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
