Pay & Hours
Pay Range: £29,000 – £31,500 per annum. The role is full‑time, but part‑time arrangements may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
Job Overview
As an Employment Adviser, you will support long‑term unemployed jobseekers, engage with local employers, and promote the Restart Scheme within the community. Your work is at the heart of our mission to help participants find sustainable employment.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of a caseload of committed jobseekers; identify barriers and develop tailored action plans.
* Provide one‑to‑one guidance on CV writing, interview preparation and skills development.
* Meet or exceed performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Collaborate with participants to build confidence and mindset for employment.
* Engage with local employers to identify job opportunities.
* Signpost participants to internal and external stakeholders to address barriers such as health, housing or financial challenges.
* Promote the Restart Scheme within the community and raise awareness of its benefits and impact.
* Provide inclusive support and advice to people from all backgrounds.

Qualifications
* Coaching/mentoring experience and strong persuasion and influencing skills.
* Experience in a customer‑facing environment such as Customer Services, Hospitality, Social Care or Sales.
* Experience working in a fast‑paced, performance‑target driven environment.
* Willingness to travel locally to meet customers and employers.
* Minimum of 2 A‑Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma and GCSE English Language Grade B (or equivalent Level 2). Alternatively, a Level2 Literacy Assessment or international equivalents may be accepted.
* Fluency in more than one language (desirable).
