The Role
This role involves coordinating all office administration activities, collaborating with the administration team, supporting engineering teams, and planning engineers' work to ensure excellent customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of seamless administration, be highly proficient with systems, and understand the importance of excellent customer support to assist their field-based installation team (x 4), which installs and services intruder systems, fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and gates and barriers. They should be eager to make a significant impact in this long-term, permanent position within a well-established and reputable Stamford-based family company.
* Guide, lead, and supervise administrative and customer support activities across teams to deliver outstanding customer service from initial contact through project completion.
* Plan and coordinate the engineers' daily schedules and respond to customer demands, including emergencies as necessary.
* Implement relevant standards and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
* Prepare and review standard operational documents for daily activities.
* Support procurement processes and manage supplier relationships within budget constraints.
* Ensure staff training and development programs are conducted to meet industry guidelines.
* Adhere to company policies and health and safety regulations.
* Respond to reasonable requests from the Directors.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experienced senior administrator capable of overseeing team activities.
* First-class customer service skills with a friendly, proactive approach.
* Experience supporting engineers or field-based teams.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with MS Office, Teams, and internal databases.
* Interest and ability to learn about fire, intruder, and security systems industry.
* Hold a Full UK driving licence or equivalent.
