Job Title: Product Owner

Location: Leeds

Salary: £59,850 - £70,344

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Leeds office.

About This Opportunity:

At Lloyds Banking Group, we’re driven by a clear purpose—to help Britain prosper. Within our Stockbroking Lab, we bring that purpose to life by delivering innovative, customer-focused investment services through our trusted brands: Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland. Supporting Halifax Share Dealing Ltd., our agile, cross-functional teams work together to create seamless, intuitive journeys that empower customers to take control of their financial futures.

We’re now looking for a passionate and driven Product Owner to join our Stockbroking Lab. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering new features that enhance our investment platform, ensuring we continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Working closely with engineers, journey managers and stakeholders, you’ll help prioritise and deliver meaningful change that makes a real difference.

What you’ll be doing:

* Feature Delivery – Lead the launch of new customer and colleague journeys, ensuring each release delivers clear value from concept to live
* Collaboration – Work closely with engineers and journey managers to break down work into deliverable increments and oversee successful implementation
* Backlog Ownership – Prioritise and manage the team’s product backlog, aligning with other Product Owners and Lab leadership to refine the overall roadmap
* Governance – Ensure change governance is followed, with appropriate documentation and stakeholder engagement
* Readiness Support – Coordinate training, communications and testing to ensure smooth implementation of new features
* Benefits Realisation – Monitor and track the impact of changes across customer, commercial and technology outcomes

Why Lloyds Banking Group:

If you think all banks are the same, you’d be wrong. We’re an innovative, fast-changing business that’s shaping finance as a force for good. A bank that’s empowering its people to innovate, explore possibilities and grow with purpose.

What you’ll need:

* Product Ownership Experience – Proven track record of backlog management, prioritisation and delivery of customer-focused features
* Investment Market Knowledge – Strong understanding of the UK investments market gained through operational and project roles
* Change Delivery – Experience delivering customer and technology change with a focus on measurable outcomes
* Stakeholder Management – Ability to engage and influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams
* Risk Management – Familiarity with RAID principles and experience managing delivery risks and escalations
* Technical Awareness – A good grasp of technology concepts to help navigate blockers and ensure efficient solutions

About working for us:

Our ambition is to be the top tier UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion supporting our customers, colleagues and communities, and we’re committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop.

We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer Initiative.

We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns. And, as a Disability Confident Leader, we guarantee interviews for a fair and proportionate number of applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role with a disability, long-term health or neurodivergent condition through the Disability Confident Scheme.

We provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers. Just let us know what you need

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

* A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
* An annual performance-related bonus
* Share schemes including free shares
* Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
* 30 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top
* A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
