Senior Technician Required in Petersfield, Hampshire
1. Pay: Basic Salary up to £45,000 - Package (with o/t ) worth in excess of potentially £53,000 + pa
2. Hours 8.30am to 5.30pm Mon-Fri and every other Saturday 8am - 1pm (ability for some flexibility would be required for this role)
We are currently working with a family run independent Car Garage in Petersfield looking for an experienced Motor Technician.
If you have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, along with proven experience as a technician in the motor trade then our client would like to hear from you. Experience in diagnostics and/or working on electrical / hybrid vehicles would be a distinct advantage, although training in these areas can be provided for the right person. You will also need good IT skills, as the role requires you to be able to use our garage systems.
The duties of the successful applicant as Senior Technician
3. Leading by example as a senior technician and providing technical expertise to other technicians when required.
4. Liaising with customers and keeping them up to date on the progress of their vehicles.
5. Drive a positive culture within the team.
6. Positively engage and contribute with all departments and the Senior Management team.
7. Any other tasks as required by the Client Service Manager & Directors.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following skills & experience:
8. Proven experience working as in a senior vehicle technician
9. Experience with diagnostic equipment and working on electric/hybrid vehicles (ideal).
10. Great communication skills
11. Leads by example.
12. Good IT skills.
13. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
14. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
15. Able to work well under pressure and manage a busy workload.
Salary and package for the Senior Vehicle Technician:
16. Competitive salary package in excess of £45k DOE pa
17. Hours: Basic 40hrs pw - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Plus every other Saturday 8am-1pm (on a rota).
18. Pension: Auto-enrolment
19. Annual leave: 30 days (22 days + 8 bank holidays)
