Are you an organised, proactive project manager with a passion for safeguarding and improving practice across the Church of England? Do you thrive on coordinating complex workstreams, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring high‑quality delivery? If so, we’d really like to hear from you.

Join the Diocese of Norwich as our Safeguarding Audit Project Manager and play a key role in preparing the Diocese, Cathedral and parishes for the national INEQE Safeguarding Audit/Inspection taking place in January 2027.


What You’ll Be Doing:

This role requires strong audit project management skills to coordinate preparation for the INEQE inspection. Your main focus will be:

* Coordinating all aspects of the INEQE audit preparation. Additionally, this includes collating evidence and entering pre‑audit data.
* Identifying evidence gaps and working with colleagues to address them.
* You will also support INEQE auditors before and during their visit.
* Coordinating the INEQE Working Group.
* Helping produce the post‑audit Action Plan.


What We’re Looking For:

* Experience managing audits or practice‑review projects.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to present progress reports.
* Self‑motivation and attention to detail.
* Commitment to safeguarding.
* Supportive of the aims of the Church of England.
* Understanding of Church of England structures.
* Driving licence and access to a car.
