💰 £35,000 – £40,000 basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £60,000) + Company Car + Benefits
About the Role
We are recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to join a growing, service-led business within the vending and refreshment solutions sector.
This is not a purely sales-focused role — it sits at the heart of service delivery, operations and client relationship management, making it ideal for someone who understands how to balance customer experience, operational performance and commercial growth.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring a high level of service delivery, while identifying opportunities to grow revenue through upselling, renewals and new business development.
This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will regularly visit client sites, working closely with internal operations and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
The Role
Account Management & Service Delivery:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of B2B client accounts within a service-led environment
* Act as the main point of contact, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
* Conduct regular site visits, service reviews and performance check-ins
* Ensure service standards, SLAs and operational delivery are consistently met
* Manage contract renewals, pricing reviews and ongoing account performance
Commercial Growth & New Business:
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services
* Drive revenue growth across existing accounts
* Respond to leads and proactively generate new business opportunities
* Present tailored, solution-led proposals aligned to customer needs
* Support onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth operational handover
Operations & Collaboration:
* Work closely with operations, logistics and service teams to deliver a seamless service
* Act as the link between customer and internal teams, resolving issues efficiently
* Ensure installations, service delivery and ongoing account requirements run smoothly
* Take ownership of customer queries and escalations through to resolution
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in B2B account management, field sales or service-led environments
* Background within vending, facilities management, FMCG, catering, logistics or similar
* Strong understanding of service delivery, operations and customer experience
* Experience managing client relationships alongside operational performance
* Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Self-motivated, organised and comfortable managing a field-based workload
