Job title: Senior Intelligence Analyst, Child Exploitation, Serious Youth Violence & Missing Children

The Opportunity
This role is responsible for contributing to the achievement of positive well-being and safety outcomes for;
* Children identified as at risk of Child Criminal Exploitation (including county lines drug dealing)
* Children identified as at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation
* Children trafficked (across boarders and internally) and identified at risk of Modern Slavery – including management of NRM Referrals
* Children Missing from Home and Care (including CLA placed in Croydon by other Local Authorities)
* Children at risk of Radicalisation
* Children and young people receiving social care services
This contribution is achieved through:
Leading on intelligence/ performance/ data management for the Complex Adolescent Panel (Croydon MACE).
This includes but is not limited to:
* Managing data in relation to Child Exploitation & Adolescent Risk Assessments
* Co-ordinating the CAP agenda each week
* Attending/Contributing to multi-agency strategy/professional meetings for MACE individuals at risk of exploitation
* Quality assurance of CAP discussions
* Peer Mapping of MACE cohorts including those involved in county lines drug dealing
* Weekly High Risk MACE children updates for senior management
* Monthly performance data/analysis in relation to Child Exploitation/MACE/CAP cohorts
* Management of NRM data focused on children at risk of trafficking and modern slavery
* Providing day to day advice to Social Workers and other professionals on Child Exploitation intelligence gathering and processes
* Identifying persons of interest linked to exploitation of children known to Croydon CAP/MACE
* Leading on intelligence/performance/data management for missing children (both from home, care and other LA CLA placed in Croydon) Producing weekly missing tracker for senior management
* Monthly performance data in relation to missing children
* Developing reporting/analysis in relation to Return Home Interview data
* Designing and reviewing protocols/reporting systems for missing children
* Improving response/oversight for OLA CLA missing from Croydon
* Contributing/Attendance at Missing Strategy Discussions for repeat missing and long duration missing episodes
* Supporting the implementation of quality assurance methodologies to further develop practice.
* To support the response to all thematic Ofsted inspection, peer to peer evaluation and all other quality assurance activities

About You
The suitable applicant will have the following knowledge and skills;
* Understanding of the relevant legislation covering data security and data protection.
* Good level IT skills particularly regarding Microsoft Excel in order to analyse and manipulate complex datasets, and Microsoft SharePoint for recording and storing information.
* Numerate and with the ability to analyse and interpret statistical information and produce complex results in an easy to use form for a variety of audiences.
* Ability to investigate data quality issues and create solutions to improve the reliability of information
* Accurate and reliable in handling data and ensuring information is valid, reliable consistent and up to date.
* Tenacity and resilience in facing up to obstacles and problem-solving.
* Orderly, methodical and well organised approach to work and able to work effectively under pressure
* Good experience of a data/information administrator role, preferably in the public service working across statutory agencies
