We are working with a Tunbridge Wells based legal firm to hire a Part Time Tax Assistant to join their growing private client team. This is an exciting, newly created role that offers scope for professional development within a genuinely friendly and supportive environment.
You will join a leading Legal 500 Tunbridge Wells based firm, and will be working closely with the Tax Manager. You will support fee-earners and clients with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns and capital gains tax returns. Submitting tax returns to the HRMC and liaising with our clients to gather the necessary information and provide updates. You will also be involved in some general administrative tasks particularly at quieter times of the year.

For this part time tax assistant role, you’ll ideally have:
* Prior experience of preparing UK self assessment tax returns, perhaps as part of a general accounting role, or within a specialist tax environment
* Have ideally worked in a professional services environment, used to liaising with clients, partners and fee-earners
* Good attention to detail, organised and proactive
* Live within a reasonable commute of Tunbridge Wells
