Senior Marketing Executive

Founded in 1997, Paragraph has a portfolio of global publications, events, awards, and websites. You will be working in a business which has high-quality brands which connect consumers and business leaders in the alcoholic drinks industry across the world and have global brand recognition.
The role is based in our Norwich office.
The Senior Marketing Executive is responsible for the profitable management and development of membership data and relationships. This role focuses on driving Premium and Lite memberships to both print and digital magazine titles.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on paid social media and email marketing as core responsibilities of the role.
Qualifications and Skills
·3 years’ experience in paid social media strategy, execution, and optimisation across Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn platforms
·Proven expertise in email marketing, including campaign strategy, segmentation, A/B testing, and performance optimisation
·Ability to manage and execute multiple campaigns simultaneously, maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
·Strong understanding of data segmentation, email automations and GDPR compliance.
·Excellent analytical skills with the ability to produce detailed reports.
·Strong project management and organisational skills.
·Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
·Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
General Responsibilities
·Copy writing and briefing design teams and third-party suppliers.
·Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to achieve agreed objectives.
·Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance to inform future strategies.
·Maintain records of promotional activity, target audiences, and campaign results to assist with future planning.
Membership development
·Create and manage membership marketing plans, alongside the Marketing Manager, for print and digital, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective, usings relevant channels and are within budget for each brand (on-boarding, retention and renewal campaigns).
·Continuously test and optimise target audiences, offers, media, and creative copy to maximise campaign response.
·Develop and implement membership benefit models and subscriber offers.
·Increase product offering and awareness, by marketing all back issues, annuals, tasting journals, glasses, etc.
Membership management
·Manage third-party relationships and supplier expenditures (Intermedia, CDS, NPS, Pattrns etc) for invoice approval and upload to Filemaker.
·Handle subscriber enquiries and maintain customer care via the subscriptions mailbox.
·Manage publication sections of WM.com and AWM.com (including updating copy, offer codes, meta tags, comms etc).
·Manage third-party relationships for publications and digital platforms (Magazine publications including annuals, Zinio, Readly, Jellyfish etc).
Events Marketing
·Work with the Marketing Manager for consumer events with an agreed marketing budget and ticket sales target.
·Attend company and industry events when required.
Database management
·Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of subscribers, event attendees and prospects.
·Implement programmes (competitions, free trial copy etc) with the Marketing Manager, to source new names via innovative methods, including but not limited to, third-parties, clients, specialist outlets, travel & tourism point distribution, in a GDPR compliant way, to grow our database.
Paragraph Partnership (adhoc)
·Develop and implement consumer marketing campaigns through paid social media and email campaigns to drive objectives set by the sales team and Partnership Director.
·Monitor and report on campaign performance, ensuring they are cost-effective and within budget.
Reports
·Monthly subscription forecasts (including digital edition sales report, online shop sales, subscriber volume & yield reports).
·Monthly consumer reports (social media and email contact list).
·Monthly consumer marketing spends.
