Licensed Aircraft Engineer
* Annual Salary: £75,000 - £85,000

* Job Type: Shift work patterns: Mon-Thurs, Tues-Fri.
Reed are recruiting for a highly motivated B1/B2 Engineer to join a leading aircraft engineering services client based in South Wales. This role involves a range of maintenance activities, both scheduled and unscheduled, in response to customer work orders and requirements. You will play a crucial role in supervising and mentoring team members, ensuring the smooth operation of our services while adhering to Part 145 maintenance standards, internal processes, and customer expectations.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Carry out aircraft maintenance as defined by customer work orders, in accordance with Maintenance MOE and relevant procedures.
* Ensure all maintenance documentation and forms are fully completed, including those of team members, and that all required reporting is performed in a timely manner.
* Perform maintenance activities efficiently and promptly to meet service demands.
* Liaise with management regarding progress, manpower, critical path, and third-party requirements.
* Provide necessary support to team members on maintenance-related issues to ensure aircraft safety and reliability.
* Maintain standard engineering practices, including task control, general husbandry, workplace cleanliness, and FOD prevention/rectification measures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* EASA B1/B2 License with types: A330 (GE CF6, PW 4000, RR Trent 700), A320 (CFM56, IAE V2500), or B737 (CFM56).
* Recent experience, with at least six months in the last twenty-four months, on the aforementioned types or similar.
* Strong knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment, and accepted industry standards.
