We are working with a leading financial services institution who are looking for a lawyer in the 3-10PQE level range to join their legal team.
It is the perfect role for a lawyer from a transactional background (Debt and equity financing, Derivatives / Capital markets transactions, structured finance, financial services regulation or banking and finance law from a major law firm), who is intellectually curious, keen to learn and diversify their experience.
This is a strategic, high-impact position offering autonomy and visibility working closely with senior stakeholders and coordinating legal support across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be working as part of the international legal team working in a highly varied legal role that offers exposure across multiple areas of the business. You will advise on:
* Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate these risks, ensuring the company’s operations align with legal requirements.
* Advise on corporate legal matters
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including subscription and licensing agreements, etc.
* Advise on corporate governance
* HR & Employment Matters – advising on internal policies and employee-related legal issues with the help of external counsel.
* Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
* Qualified lawyer with 4-10 years PQE, ideally from a top tier law firm
* Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.
* Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, global environment.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and advise at senior levels.
*Candidates with equivalent experience outside of the PQE will be considered for this role.
