Yard Operative - Harlow (Pinnacles Area)
We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a well-established company in the Harlow Pinnacles area. This is a hands-on role working mainly outdoors and supporting a busy yard operation supplying total solutions to the construction industry, including shoring equipment, piling equipment, pipework, and hydraulic tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating pressure-washing equipment
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Using hand tools and various hydraulic equipment
* General yard duties and manual labour
* Stock checks and maintaining a tidy working environment
Desirable Skills
* A Counterbalance Forklift Licence is beneficial but not essential.
o Training and certification will be provided for committed candidates once they achieve permanent employment status.
* Experience in welding, fabrication, or hydraulics is an advantage, but not required.
Hours & Pay
* Monday to Friday
* 08:00 to 17:30
* 42.5 basic hours per week
* Optional overtime available on Saturdays at x1.5 pay rate
Contract Type
This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity. You will complete a qualifying period on a temporary contract. With strong performance, reliability, and a positive attitude, there is the potential to be taken on permanently by the client.
