Housekeeping Assistant at HC One
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and attention to detail.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although full training will be provided. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential. Your positive energy, natural ability to connect with people, and strong communication skills—both listening and instructing—are key to success. You will communicate with residents and colleagues considerately and kindly.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
We offer full training and a variety of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
* Company pension scheme
* 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
