Quantity Surveyor Required
Contract Length: 6 months+
Location: Black Country
Rate of Pay: Negotiable
Venn Group are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a Local Authority in the Black Country
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Lead a team of surveyors managing a variety of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and building compliance related works/contracts.
* Deliver commercial and project management services from inception to completion.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.
* Oversee cost control, valuations, and contractor performance.
* Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance, health & safety, and CDM regulations.
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet service objectives.
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience in project/commercial management within a construction or property environment.
* Strong knowledge of standard forms of building contracts and relevant legislation.
* A Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) in Surveying, Construction, or Commercial Management.
